To keep the cat population at Circuit Makati in control, the Cats of Circuit Makati regularly partners with animal welfare groups like CARA and Biyaya to catch, neuter, vaccinate, and release our community cats. This way, we prevent overpopulation while also allowing them to live their lives safer and healthier because of the many health benefits the neutering a cat brings, like a reduced risk of reproductive diseases, infection, and sexually transmitted diseases. We also vaccinate our cats with the Anti-Rabies Vaccine upon neutering, keeping the cats and our volunteers safe from Rabies.
As of 2025, we have spayed and neutered an estimate of 200 cats both within and near Circuit Makati.
Thanks to our partner groups, donors, and sponsors, our mission of keeping a sustainable and healthy community for our feline friends continues to make a positive impact. With each successful spay and neuter procedure, we help prevent the birth of countless stray kittens, reduce the risk of overpopulation and improve the overall well-being of our community cats.
